Luke Schafer

I am a 2012 graduate of East Mills High School and am currently a student at Wartburg College studying Biology/Pre-Physical Therapy. I have always been interested in exercise, fitness, and how the body works and moves. I am currently the Head Trainer for Wolverine Fitness and I'm excited for the progress the people in my classes are going to have this summer! I have been Crossfitting off and on for about 2.5 years and this will be the first time I have switched to full time Crossfit. I'm excited to see where hard work and dedication can take me!

I hope to one day open up a Physical Therapy clinic along with a Crossfit gym. My belief is that too often, physical therapists see their patients, help them return to their original selves, and then let them go without ever helping them again. A lot of these people don't continue to work on themselves and don't ever get better. I want to be able to help my patients not only return to their original selves, but also get them better than they were before by getting them to come to my gym.

Crossfit Accomplishments:

300th place in 2013 Crossfit Open-North Central Region (3600 competitors)
9th place in 2012 Summer Shop Games in Topeka, Kansas
